9th & 10th December - An outstanding two days of racing action

A wonderful two days of the highest class Jump racing featuring one of the most valuable hurdle races of the entire season.

Friday: A day of enthralling racing which features the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase, part of Europe's Crystal Cup Challenge, a scheme incorporating many different cross country races across the continent. The race, one of three cross country races held at Cheltenham each season, was won last year by Josies Orders, trained by Enda Bolger and ridden by Nina Carberry.

SaturdayJump racing is at its best in the middle of the winter and this fixture offers two days of action to get you into the Christmas spirit. The feature race of the fixture, after which it is named, is the International Hurdle, won last year by Old Guard, who is jointly owned by Jeremy Kyle, The Brooks Family and The Stewart Family.

We warmly welcome back Mid Life Choir Sis who always help us get into the Christmas spirit by singing carols before racing. You will be able to see and hear them near the Parade Ring.

Gates open at 10.00am on Friday with the first race at 12.00pm. Gates open at 10.00am on Saturday with the first race at 12.05pm. Last race times: 3.30pm Friday, 3.35pm Saturday.
